Thanksgiving Break
On Thanksgiving Day, David got up early and went to play football with some of his family and friends. After the first hour of boring two-hand touch, some of the guys left, and the remaining few played tackle against some juveniles from Discovery Academy - they had a blast playing tackle against these teenagers (some of whom were quite large.) We went to the Dayton home around 12:30pm, took some family pictures, and then headed to his aunt and uncle's home in Orem. We had hors d'oeuvres, sang songs, and then ate a huge meal. After dinner, there was a pool competition-David was paired up with his cousin, Barbara, and they did awesome until we had to go so we could see my family for a bit. Before we left the Dayton's we had some dessert, which was definitely scrumptious. :-)

As the game was ending. :-)
As we were standing in line to get in, David couldn't find the tickets anywhere - they had been in his back pocket. He searched for them all over, but decided that they were probably stolen because we had been in a huge crowd for the last 30 minutes or so. I was crying, and David (ever-smart in intense situations) went over to the customer service booth and explained the situation. They told him that there were lots of tickets reported stolen, and since they were box seats that his uncle ALWAYS has that they could reprint us some tickets, and if anyone showed up in our seats to report them to security. The student ticket that my brother was going to use to get in (it was his 18th B-Day) was also in David's pocket, and luckily Bonnie's friend's brother had an extra ticket - so with about ten minutes to spare, we all got into the game. I have NEVER been so grateful to be at a football game. :-) Plus - it turned out AMAZINGLY. We sat a bit below the area where all of the apostles sit - and we counted at least 8 of them!

Our very own Thanksgiving Dinner. (It was missing a few of the normal side-dishes, but there ARE only two of us to eat it!)

I'm jealous of your great seating at the football game :-)
