The Thanksgiving Post

Everyone from the Dayton family was in Provo this Thanksgiving.  It was so much fun to have everyone here for a few days.  The oldest cousins had fun doing Turkey crafts the day before Thanksgiving:  So much fun to have their own table:  Thanksgiving Day: Friday we did family pictures.  We took a few snapshots of our own afterwards since we were matching already:  Kyla loves the babies:  Friday afternoon we had a special treat - lunch at the country club.  So good!  Jamie (my BFF) and I were able to meet up with our moms for dinner:  We played a family kickball game.  The little kids were hilarious:  Kyla liked kicking the ball, but preferred hiding in the trees:  The oldest cousins watching from the stands:  Then we had a gingerbread making contest.  We drew names and it was fun to see who ended up with who.  This was Tay's team, Aunt Marie, Tay, and ...

This post is just life in lovely Provo in the last couple of weeks, mostly pictures. ***  We've had a touch of snow in the last bit, I love cute winterwear! :)   The kids love to play in Grandma Cindy's box of stuffed animals:  A couple of typical Kyla expressions:  Tay likes to sneak into our bed at night (I despise sleeping pictures of myself, but its super cute of him and his books!)  Reading with Daddy in the kids' room:  David made dinner the other night with food storage with the year 1965 on it.  It was edible.  I think that counts as a success for 46-year-old canned food.  Tay loves to curl his nose while I put on makeup:  My little sister competing in the 180 cha cha class competition at BYU, so much fun to be back at Dancesport.  I don't have any pictures of her there, but David's little sister, Jessie, competed Novice and Pre-Champ Standard.  Kyla loving the twi...

Halloween in Utah

Image
All packed up and ready to go: We had this lovely view for the 10 hour drive:  Poor kids stuck in carseats all day long:  They did not do much of this:  We made it to Utah in time for Halloween!!! A 'good knight' and a lovely princess: Kyla with one of the twins (Avery, I think):  We went trick-or-treating at Uncle Tia's office and then cousin Asher and Aunt Bonnie came over for a trunk-or-treat: Uncle Tia with the twins in their cute cow costumes.  (Kyla is sure loving living with the babies!)  Dinner in a pumkin, yum!
