More than a Month

Image
I can't believe that my tiny little baby is a month old now. It has gone by so quickly, yet it seems as if he's been with us forever. We absolutely LOVE being parents and are still constantly amazed by how adorable we think Taylor is. An exhausting shopping trip: Some of David's family members with their babies: David went to NY and PA to visit law schools: And he brought back this adorable outfit for Taylor: Taylor wore overalls for the first time and he looked absolutely adorable! Our little family: Just chilling on the bed waiting for Dad to wake up - Saturday mornings are fun! Taking a Sunday afternoon nap -Taylor went to church for the first time this past week. Tay-Tay and I had a picnic in front of our house with my sister, Bonnie: We bought Taylor a swing and sometimes he likes it :) We went out to eat at Brick Oven: Tay had his first piggy-back ride: We are sooo excited for BYU football to start!

Goodbye Curls! :(

Well, David has an interview at the University of Pennsylvania this coming Monday, so yesterday he got a haircut...sooo sad - I LOVE his ringlets! (But I do think he looks very handsome with short hair.) So many curls on the floor! Here's his new hair...and Taylor getting his first bottle - we are going to give him a little every other day or so just so he'll get used to taking a bottle in case we ever need to give him one. I think he liked it because it's still breastmilk...but in a more easily accessible container. :) This week we also had lunch with a few of David's cousins that are living around here, and Taylor and cousin Steven got to ride home next to each other, so cute! Taylor cuddled with Daddy, and then tried on his hat...it's just a little bit too big-haha! Some of the time we just hung out... We went to a baby shower and Taylor met my best friend Jamie (and her nephew Jonas.) We also did lots of "Tummy Time" exercises together - Taylor exe...

Life with Taylor

Image
This last week we've gotten out to do a few things... We went to one of David's softball games: We went to a Family Reunion: 5 Generation Picture: Just the two of us: David helping some of the little cousins play Duck-Duck-Goose: Daddy & Taylor: Mommy loves Taylor: Taylor doesn't quite know what to think when Grandma plays the piano for him:

Happy 4th of July

We went up to Logan for David's family Reunion this weekend. It was very draining, but wonderful to visit with so many of his family members that we don't see very often. Taylor and I spent a lot of time in our room, but were able to get out and participate in some of the activities. It was a memorable first 4th of July for our little family. We also met up with our friends Adam & Jeanne (who just moved up to Logan) for lunch. Taylor was very good and slept in his car seat the whole time we were there. I was super paranoid and had to peek at him (under the blanket) to make sure he was okay about every two minutes.

1 Week Old Today!

His huge curious eyes - I wish I knew what he is thinking! He loves Daddy! Daddy was nuzzling him and he totally latched onto his nose - haha! Newborns are sooo cuddly and sweet! First doctor's appointment - and he was really good, even with his clothes off for several minutes.
