Birth-Day

Image
Sweet little Lilia Lynn was born on Monday, April 30 at 4:01 pm MT time.  She was just under 7 lbs 5 oz, 19.5 inches and looks just like her older sister.  There were no complications and we have loved having her join our family.  It was especially fun for her older siblings to meet her for the first time. It is hard to believe that our little Ky-Sue is a big sister.  Although the baby is brand new - she looks a ton like Kyla when she was a baby.   Click for the Taylor - Kyla comparison here.

Easter Sunday

Image
Egg decorating Saturday night resulted in all of the Easter stickers on Tay & Ky :)  An Easter egg hunt Sunday morning:  Kyla kept giving any blue/green candy to Tay and he'd bring her anything pink/purple, haha!  A fun photo shoot with the twins after church, the girls all had new matching dresses thanks to Grandma Cindy!  After dinner, we found Kyla beneath the kid table with her basket, she had eaten 4 Reese's in about 2 minutes.  The cute and delicious carrot cake that Grandma Cindy made:  Aunt Jessie took a nap after dinner and didn't even notice the kids playing all around and mostly on top of her...  Kyla with her Easter hat and purses:

Last Week of Cousins Here

Image
The Thomas family headed back to home to Washington on Saturday.  We had some more fun with them this past week before they left though.  The gardens at Thanksgiving Point are just starting to fill with spring flowers.  We all packed into one golf cart - 4 adults and 7 kids!  Grandma Cindy with all the cousins who were there except Avery.  (She was a little bit upset after missing a nap...)   Chrissy all loaded up to head back to the car.  Loving their green smoothies!  Kyla gearing up for Easter :) It snowed on Friday - crazy! The poor flowers.  They looked really pretty though.  A bubble bath to warm up after playing in the snow:  Tay & Kyla helped me clean on Saturday:  Then David did story time so I could keep cleaning without their 'help' :)  We had a KFC picnic in the park Saturday evening:  Taylor was whining on the way home and David asked...

Kite Weather

Image
Yesterday was gorgeous with perfect blue skies and just enough wind for flying kites!  The kids loved helping David.     He got it flying pretty high.  Kyla playing 'basket-all' I even 'accidentally' flew the kite while trying to roll it up for David.  For some reason I couldn't get it going when I tried, but when I didn't it took off all on it's own... It really was a beautiful day. We are loving all of the 'popcorn' trees and flowers popping up all over!

Cousins for Conference

Image
We had all the Dayton cousins in town for the last week.  It was fun and crazy!  Chrissy is here for 3 weeks while Kevin is deployed and Sara flew in for the week. Thanksgiving Point:  With a sweet and creamy treat at the end from Grandma Cindy of course. :)  The Book of Mormon Exhibit at The Church History Museum:  City Creek Center:  Story time at the library:  The oldest 4 (of 9) cousins:  On Friday night, David hosted a mission reunion for his mission president from the first half of his mission, President Romney (who happens to be my 1st cousin twice removed - my Grandma's cousin...random!)  Preparing to watch General Conference with Saturday morning cartoons:  Hanging out at the awesome McDonalds in Evanston, WY while waiting for David during the Priesthood Session:  Spoiled by Grandpa, ice cream before lunch:  Some down time: It was fun to have all of the cous...
