Welcoming in the Third Trimester

Image
27 Weeks pregnant...and I have a little less than 3 months until my due date. :) *** David was gone this last week and weekend - he's been traveling around visiting different law schools, so I worked on Saturday for one of the other receptionists, and then I went to my parent's home for the rest of Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday night, we went to the Fitness Club in their neighborhood and I sat with my feet in the hot tub while my mom swam laps. Then I played 'PIG' with my mom and brothers in the gym. I got out first...so surprising! :) *** The weekend before was fun, we went to Trafalga right after I got out of work on Friday because it was such nice weather. I beat David in mini-golf...which he was not very happy about. (Probably because of how much I rubbed it in his face-haha!) I guess I just got lucky because usually I lose by a lot. David killed me with his skee-ball score afterwards though. :) I got two hole-in-ones...and I look massively pregnant in ...

Baseball Game

Image
For some reason - probably because of my dad - I love going to baseball games. I just love the atmosphere. Since it has been warmer lately, I have been bugging David to go with me to a BYU baseball game, but he doesn't ever really want to go. (He says he only likes professional baseball games...) So yesterday, my little brother and sister came up and went with me to one. It was nice weather (until the sun went down and we started to freeze), we got to eat hot dogs (its the only time I really eat them), and sing 'Take Me Out to the Ball Game.' It was fun, BYU ended up beating Air Force and we had a good time.

Graffiti

We live in a fairly nice condo that we rent from my parents. Although the inside of the condo is lovely, the parking underneath is pretty ghetto. Our parking stalls are in the back corner of the lot, which seems to be the prime spot for the High School delinquents to smoke during the day. It is always very irritating to pull in and find fresh cigarette butts littered in the corner. Last year, David got mad at some of them and told them they were breaking the law and should go do something worthwhile like play sports. The next day we had some colorful words and phrases scrawled over the walls of our spots and some was even on our car - luckily we were able to scrub it off. We haven't said anything to any of them lately, but the other morning, I came out to find this scary picture drawn right in front of my car. There was also red paint splattered on the pole (looks like blood), which is about 4 inches from my car...but none was on the car. Anyway, it is a scared looking girl in what...

Dancesport Competition

Image
BYU's National Dancesport Competition begins tomorrow morning. Sadly, I will not be competing in it for the first time since I moved to Provo about 4 1/2 years ago. However, I will be there watching my husband and sister-in-laws, and although it will be hard to not be dancing, I would much rather be pregnant with my cute little baby boy! Dancing the Foxtrot a year ago at the same competition. (It actually might be two years ago, I'm not sure.)

It's March Already!

An update of my progress in pregnancy - 23 weeks along - 58% through!!! We went to Fuddruckers with the some of the Dayton Family after a dance competition on Friday. I was the only one not competing...sad! Our FHE Activity a couple of weeks ago: A trip to Borders. David was busy looking at books with statistics and information about different law schools - and I was busy finding the perfect baby book. It's funny how our focuses in life are so different from what they were last year when we were both still focusing on our undergraduate degrees.
