An Interesting Evening

Last Thursday night, David and I went up to SLC to watch his sister Becky in 'Savior of the World.' We went with his sister, Chrissy, and met his other sister and husband, Chris & Sara, there. It was a nice performance and we went to a french bakery afterwards to get a treat. :-)As we pulled into the Dayton's driveway around 11:30pm that night, we noticed an extremely strong and unnatural smell. I immediately noticed that the storage doors at the back of their carport had black streaks up them. We assumed there was a gas leak or fire, so we jumped out of the car and David rang the doorbell a bunch to get his mom and two sisters out. When his sister Marie answered the door she was pretty annoyed until he told her what was going on. He ran in and got his sister Jessie out of bed and his mom ran out in her pajamas and slippers. Soon, the street was flooded with police cars, a fire truck, and quite a few neighbors. We sat in the car for about 40 minutes while they put out the fire and figured out that it was started by an older freezer. They told them that they were really lucky because it should have burned down half of their house, not just the inside of the shed. What a crazy night!

The guilty freezer.

that is so freaky, something like that happened to our house too. I tagged you but it looks like you have already been tagged. All well!
