Happy Day!!!

These past few days have been really stressful for us. David got an e-mail that we thought was going to have his September LSAT score in it on Friday of last week. After a prayer, we nervously opened the e-mail to find out that there was some kind of issue with his account, so we would have to check the website for the score. We don't have the internet at our apartment (just e-mail on my phone), so we drove to David's work to get on-line. We went through the whole nervous process again as we logged on, only to be informed that there was a hold on his record and he would not be able to get his score until it was resolved. Apparently, he had applied to have his fee waived and it had been denied - so even though he ALREADY paid for it - we couldn't get the score until we could call them during regular business hours (Monday morning) and get it cleared up.

So - the whole weekend was stressful with anticipation (especially because a bunch of guys in our ward had taken it and they all knew their scores.) When we called Monday morning, they said that even though we had already paid, we couldn't get the score until we faxed them a signed paper that said he did not want the fee waiver - and then it would take 24 to 48 hours to "process it" before he got his score. So, luckily (and because David finally broke down and got upset with them) it took less than 24 hours, and we had another e-mail in our inbox this morning at 6:00am. David went to work around 6:45am and called me as he opened the score.

Well, to sum up our long and stressful story - David did very well and we are quite excited about his score as it will enable him to get into the schools that he really wants to go to!!!
This was the only picture that I had to go along with this story - David is in the blue shirt by the tree. I took this from the car when I dropped him off to take the LSAT at BYU on Sep, 29th. Sorry it is so fuzzy and small! :-)

So does this mean you're coming to DC?! I hope it does. I was just thinking about all the fun we'd have together if you lived out here. Love you.
