It's a...

WE HAVE NO IDEA!!!
I had 3 ultrasounds throughout the day yesterday - the nice ultrasound tech kept having me leave for an hour or two and eat and then let me come back again to try to tell the gender and we could never tell. The baby is sitting really really low plus it had it's legs closed completely. So they said that we could come back during our appointment in a month to try again. Waiting another month seems like torture!
At least it is not our first baby or I would probably die! Anyway, the baby had an adorable little face and is healthy besides a minor irregular heartbeat that they claim will usually clear up by the 3rd trimester - it makes me a little nervous, but since they seemed not too concerned about it then I guess I shouldn't stress too much about it either. The heart anatomy was all correct and beating properly, so that is a good sign.
Anyways, I promise I will post Germany & Christmas pictures soon and I will post the gender around February 1st.

Here is a picture of me at almost 21 weeks...I still look non-pregnant, just like I am thickening around the waist...and I am much smaller than last time, I think that it is because the baby is so low. The ultrasound tech said that it is one of the lowest she has ever seen! I guess that explains it...one of these days I am just going to pop though!

Yeah-you don't even look kind of pregnant!

But the babies' attitude during the ultrasound makes me think she or he has your personality and not David's:)

Hope Christmas and Germany were fun!
Oh my goodness how annoying!!! Well we were lucky and got to find out super early! I am only 13 weeks but we found out we are having a BOY! We are super excited. Kelly's friend is an ultrasound tech so we just went in for fun and we got to find out. And dang Heather you don't even look pregnant at all! You are gorgeous as ever. I hope all is going well. We need to get together again soon.

I think you are lying about having a baby in there. =)

Jason and I were looking at pictures of your boy and we have concluded that he is so stinkin cute.

p.s. Hope the little one isn't as shy the next ultrasound.

I am so excited for you guys. It is a bummer that you have to wait another month though. And...I can't believe you are still so little. How nice is that. Can't wait to hear what it is in a month. I bet it's a girl. :D
Oooooh, you skinny girl, you! We had our ultrasound yesterday, too, and the baby sat with ankles crossed and legs tucked for a long time - the tech even finished and said to check again at my next appt - but she must have sensed the desperation in the air, 'cuz she tried one more time and voila! A Girl! Good luck with everything and we hope to see you guys soon!
Oh man! What a bummer! I'm guessing it's another little boy :) Ethan was SUPER low as well and the ultrasound lady just about killed me to get a good picture of his gender. I hope you find out soon! Oh and by the way, you dont even look like you are in the awkward thick stage of pregnancy.. you look amazing! I don't think I looked that good at 12 weeks along! Keep up the good work!

Dang- too bad your little one was uncooperative! At least he/she is looking healthy though! We'll be excited to hear any updates and to see pictures of your trip!
I'm sorry you couldn't find out! I hate waiting until 20 weeks. You look fantastic! You don't even look pregnant...I'm jealous :) I'm glad the baby looked healthy!
