Timp Caves

This past weekend was fun. We went on a double date with my sister and Ian on Friday - out to Mimi's Cafe and then to the new Indiana Jones movie. Then on Saturday we went up to the Utah Symphony and then visited with David's grandma, Aunt Barbara, and Uncle Tom. Sunday was our first day in our new ward (they just changed our ward boundaries) and we had church at 9am - yay!!! On Memorial Day, I really wanted to go hiking but it was raining off and on so we were worried that the trails would be muddy. I've been wanting to hike up to Timpanogas Caves for a while, so we decided to call and see if they were still open since the trail is paved. They sure were, so I hiked the whole thing at more than 8 months pregnant - YEAH! I didn't even go into labor from it...at least not yet :)

Here's a few pictures from the hike and the BBQ we had afterwards:

PREGNANCY UPDATE:I had an appointment today and I am 1.5 cm dialated and 25% effaced - which is supposed to be perfect for now. They said that they will most likely induce me sometime in the week before my due date if I haven't already come yet because of the risks from the possible gestational diabetes...so I have less than a month to go! Crazy!

David and his little brother were up in the crawl space at the Dayton home trying to find a basinet...I think this picture of them is cute and funny!I also had a shower thrown by the Dayton family this week...pictures are coming soon! :)

you rock. i love that you hiked timp. we have this hilarious picture of my mom waterskiing when she was quite pregnant with danny. and you're comment on my blog made me so happy. and yes, we do need to chat. i should probably just call you as soon as i get off of work one night...that should give us a good five hours to talk away before it's time to head to bed! ha jk...but kind of seriously i could really see us managing to talk for a good five hours. i'm definitely missing our weekly sonic date updates! ummmmm. and you are going to have a real live baby so soon! WHAT! anyway. i'll give you a call tomorrow. i hope you have a happy day! love, jamie.
