Image
Lilia Lynn Dayton 6 months on 10/30/2012 10 lbs 11 oz. 21.75 inches She loves to have a pacifier, thumb, or anything else in her mouth. She is very smiley and happy and pleasant. She loves social interaction and is always 'talking' to everyone. Nicknames: Loo-lee, Lil' Sue, Loo-skers, Lils, Lili, Lulia, Lee-lee-ya She's starting to try to eat.  Not much actually ends up getting swallowed, but she sure has fun doing 'big girl' things!  She's so silly!!!  She laughs so much at herself or others, its so much fun!   (Don't worry - the white stuff on her arms is just eucerin)  I love her eyes:  She can sit up for like 5 seconds at a time before bending all the way forward:  Kyla just adores Lilia and she is very very tolerant of all of Kyla's crazy playing with her.  She actually usually really likes it: Kyla is so crazy sometimes...    She does this all of the time, crazy girl! ...

Fall!!!

Image
Fall is so much fun!!!!!! And since we are in Utah, this is the very next morning:  We went hiking a couple of weeks ago with my mom.  It was so much fun for the kids and I loved being up in the fresh mountain air and seeing the gorgeous changing leaves. Grandma brought sacks for them to collect things, Tay was super excited!!! Totally weird angle for me, but look at Lilia's stunning blue eyes!!! Taylor is such a good big brother!!! Favorite pictures of the day: I'm going to miss fall in Utah!

Surprise Visit

Image
On Wednesday night, David surprised us by walking in the door!!!  We weren't planning on seeing him until mid-December, so this was a HUGE and exciting shock!  Taylor was up a bit past his bedtime and was a little confused... :)  He got really hyper and smiley and happy pretty quickly though.  Kyla missed her Daddy SO much.  Earlier in the day she had been crying and told me, "I don't want a mommy!  I just want my Daddy..."  Then when I told her we'd see him at Christmas, she said, "But I want him to see Halloween!"  It was heartbreaking, so he showed up just at the right time.  This little girl is already very different even though it's only been 6 weeks:  Our family drove the Alpine Loop together, it was gorgeous! I loved hearing David play and sing!  The kids enjoyed getting some rambunctious throwing around time with David!  David and Lilia reconnected a bit.  She just kept starin...
