Festival of Trees

We went to the Festival of Trees today with my mom and sister. (Yay!!! Mary is back from Spain!!!)
There were SO many trees.  We walked slow-ish through about 1/2 of them and then kind of hurried through the rest to go see all the fun stuff going on at the end - Santa, Christmas Crafts, Performers, Food, etc...  It was really fun and a great way to kick off the Christmas season this year!
A puzzle tree for Tay :)
This one made me shed a tear, the 'Fallen Soldier' tree - in honor of POWs & MIAs:
 Ky's favorite:
(She really did like it, she was just being dramatic...she is such a mini-David, haha!)
I liked all of the rugged-outdoorsy looking ones!
We had all 3 in the stroller some of the time. :)
I liked this quote (notice where it's from) and the soldier & nutcracker saluting:
 Pride for my Alma Mater:
Everyone enjoyed eating pretzels at the end, but nobody as much as this cute girl:
 I love these two 'skinnies':
I'm so glad that I have my mom to take us on fun holiday outings that I would never attempt with the kids on my own!!!

Love Mom and sister outings! Looks like everyone had a great time. Festival of Trees IS a great way to kick off the Christmas season. Cute pictures!
That's pretty good to post a blog the day you went. I'm not jealous of you living WITH parents and having David gone, but I'm jealous of you having family around, at least. I need some sisters to make sweets with (and a mom to motivate me to stay healthy...haha), and I need a glitter toe night. I can't see my toes right now, though. ha. I have no idea when we're going to see each other next!!! We need to figure it out because I've hardly gotten to know Lilia and I'll have a new girl soon!
