Ouch!

Last Sunday, Kyla fell on the gravel in the road while walking to church.  She bled a lot.  Instead of 3 hours at church, we spent 3 hours in the ER getting asphalt and dead tissue cleaned out  - they can't stitch underneath your lower lip, it won't hold.  It was so sad!  She had a rough day.  So did we.  

This is the 2nd major lip injury she has had in a couple of months.  The first one required stitches on the bottom lip.  Luckily the swelling went down quickly and her lip is pretty much healed.  She still has a plugged up nose, so we need to take her back to make sure there isn't a hematoma, hopefully she won't have any lasting affects.  Poor little girl.  She seems much more accident prone than Taylor, who hasn't had much more than scrapes and bruises.
