Bedtime

I realized that we have a lot of fun pictures of bedtime from the past week. I'd say that's our favorite time of day despite it being quite chaotic at moments. Taylor always gets really silly and makes Kyla giggle infectiously. David is often home then so they get to spend some time playing with him & that's fun for all of us. Taylor loves baths but is still a little bit water-shy. Kyla is a little fish and has no fear when it comes to water. She does NOT like having to get out before Taylor and won't stay wrapped up in her towel for the 30 seconds it takes me to get him rinsed off and out after her. She pops right back up the moment I let go of her, it's hilarious!

These two LOVE their toothbrushes - they both like to brush their teeth themselves and are great to let me finish off after their turn. I go through 'A-E-I-O-U' slowly to get them to open their mouths different ways so I can clean all the teeth and even Kyla says most of the vowels correctly when copying me. Taylor usually can't get through the 'O' and 'U' without giggling. (The pillowcase has the three of us on it - I had it made for David when he was gone this summer and Taylor won't use any other pillowcase. It's kind of creepy when I check on him at night because sometimes in the dark I can't tell if I am looking at him or his picture!)David often plays 'horse' at Taylor's request. He usually gives him quite a crazy ride - he caught some air in this picture. Both Tay & Ky love getting thrown up in the air too - so fun!Last night David had music playing while he was studying & Taylor put on quite the show for us. He just couldn't finish getting his pajamas on once he heard the music playing. :)
