My Cowboy Husband

We are back in Utah!!! We came home a little bit earlier than we originally planned because David really wanted to go on a pack trip with his little brother this summer. A pack trip is when you ride horses up into the mountains to camp - you pack your things in on a horse, hence "pack" trip. He left early Monday morning and will get home late Saturday night. He has been preparing like crazy for this trip and is really excited about it. He is going to spend the week riding, fishing, camping, & having male bonding time. :)

I'm sure we will have plenty of pictures to post of the actual trip, but I took a few of him riding the horses in preparation for the trip because although he has always told me he is a cowboy, I've never really seen it. Well - here is the proof: David looking totally natural in wranglers, boots, & a cowboy hat-haha!!! The picture above is David on the horse that he broke. :)
Taylor absolutely loved riding the horse with David and threw a fit when I took him off!
I had to ride too of course, but no galloping for me - I was even too scared to ride on my own, I made David lead my horse the whole time...I'm totally NOT country!

Hummm....Is the reason you weren't galloping a (hint) to something? Or, maybe not. Yay, I am happy your back. We should plan to do something soon.

Only a hint to the fact that I cannot ride horses very well :)

haha. that would so be me making someone else lead the horse. horses freak me out. and taylor looks super cute making the scrunchy face.

and that's a relief the no galloping wasn't a hint to anything ... hopefully i'll get married (or have a relationship that lasts for more than 2 weeks) before you have baby #2!

Haha.. City girl meets country boy huh? I love it, and I CAN'T believe you wouldn't ride a horse alone! Your husband really does look like a cowboy!
