First Food

Tay had his first bit of rice cereal tonight and he seemed to love it. I just mixed it with warm millk so it would taste familiar to him, and he devoured it! :) He kept pounding his little fist while I was feeding him...so cute!

Tay also had his first time being sick this last week and it was so sad because he was really congested. He couldn't nurse very well because he couldn't breath - so that was really frustrating for him, and he couldn't breath when laying down, so I spent several nights holding him in the chair and I was sick too, it was exhausting! We're both much better now that we're getting over it, and I think that I'm going to be much more paranoid about having him out in public...and having people use hand sanitizer... :)Tay has some adorable outfits that fit him right now, including his letterman's jacket and his awesome Christmas outfit that his daddy picked out, and some sweet shoes from Old Navy that I got. :)

Taylor loves sitting on his daddy's shoulder's and pulling on his hair - it is so cute!

He has this new thing that makes it nearly impossible to change him where he arches his back and flips his head all the way around to look at the tubes of ointment and powders on his changing table. I have to keep turning him back and trying to hold him straight just to get his diaper strapped on.

Well - Tay measures in the 90th percentil for height and weight, and so far he's been pretty in line with my brother Thomas's baby measurements...so we took a picture of how much more growing he has to do in the next 18.5 years:

Grandpa (my dad) has been rehearsing for the Nutcracker as of late...Taylor enjoys listening.

I went shopping today and stuck Tay in the seat for the first time...he still can't quite sit up without support, but he sat up in the cart really well because he gripped the bar in front of him.

Oh my gosh, he is just too cute! I am so sorry you guys were sick! I HATE and I mean ABSOLUTELY HATE when my kids are sick, and even worse, when we are sick at the same time. I am sorry! I am glad you are feeling better. I am telling ya, a little children's tylenol will set ya free. You need to let us watch him sometime so you guys can have a date, exept that you live kinda far and have a husband that probably has NO time! Call anyway!

Good grief - suddenly he looks so old in all these pictures! I loved all of them. Sorry you guys were sick. :( Has he gotten a flu shot yet? Anyway, good thing we get to see him super soon, or I'd be really sad right now!!!

Nope, he can't have one yet...the earliest they can get one is 6 months old...so we just have to hope that he doesn't get exposed for now :(
Starting babies on food is so much fun. It looks like he really liked it :) I'm sorry you guys were both sick. It's so hard to watch them and feeling so helpless. Dallin does the same thing when we change his diaper...it isn't a whole lot of fun.
Heather, he is so cute! We have always had problems with getting Ethan to stay still during diaper changes! He still does the same thing your little boy is doing now...I think I posted a picture a while back of how we do diaper changes now.. you should check it out!
