Valentine's Day 2008

This Valentine's Day was pretty busy, so David surprised me and gave me beautiful roses and lilies on Wednesday night. He was also so excited about my gift that he gave it to me then as well. Might I mention that we had decided not give each other gifts...classic David trick. Anyway, his present wasn't anything small - it was a new video iPod with a cute pink leather case. I was excited/upset until I found out that he bought it mostly with gift cards that he got from work for being in the lead in their fitness challenge...so I guess it's okay. :) Anyway, he is SUCH a sweetheart like that. I had actually bought him an iTunes gift card and a plug for the car and wall for his iPod - so it was kind of an iPod-themed Valentine's Day.

On Valentine's Day evening, we went to Babies-R-Us to check out strollers, carseats, changing tables, cribs, etc... it's something I've wanted to do for a while, but we're just never free at the same time. It was fun. Afterwards, we went to David's intramural game at 8pm - sooo romantic. :) Around 9:30 we lucked out when we found that McGrath's was still open and there was no wait. So we enjoyed a really nice dinner of Crab and Shrimp wontons, Italian Sodas, Chicken & Shrimp Penne Rustica, and Filet Mignon. It was amazing, and a nice romantic end to our day.*My new iPod!*
