THE DAYTON FAMILY

 I can't believe David is 29.  Seriously.  That seems really really old.  I remember thinking it sounded really old when he turned 25.  Well, this sounds older! Presents Tay & Ky opened up pretty much all of his gifts... Taking a nap, the perfect B-day present! Decorating cupcakes They are used to him being so dramatic!  Luckily David is around to help because I have been exhausted trying to take care of a newborn and also spend time with an energetic little 3-year-old and almost 2-year-old. :)   David basically takes care of all 4 of us all day and also has taken Tay & Ky on a few outings.   On Friday, they went to Thanksgiving Point   (with Grandma Cindy, Aunt Marie + the twins, and Aunt Jessie) I was so grateful for the extra quiet sleeping time, but I definitely missed seeing all of the beautiful flowers!  I think this picture is hilarious! Tay was a little bit more brave on the pony than poor little Kyla! Every time we go we have to hold her on the whole time.  Hopefully she will get over her fear one day, poor little girly! Some down time at home: Kyla LOVES 'baby Lee-la'! Now this is what I call multi-tasking! Getting a 'talking to' after too much giggling and running around during scriptures... :) Lots of ...

We brought our sweet little Lilia Lynn home on Tuesday evening, May 1st.  She was born Monday evening.  With my other two babies I stayed 2 nights instead of 1.  I think that I will try and keep it that way for my next deliveries - it was a rough first night home and I definitely could have used that extra sleep that you get knowing that your baby is being watched over carefully in the nursery. :)   However, it is so wonderful to bring a little tiny angel straight from heaven home.  Taylor and Kyla were so excited to come see her again on Tuesday.  Taylor picked out a book to bring so he could read to her - such a sweet and good big brother!  Tay loves holding her!  David put them in matching Puma outfits - adorable!  Lilia all dressed and ready to head home:  This was taken after a good deal of crying - our kids don't really like carseats...  Getting wheeled out!  Our 3 kids fit perfectly in...
