My Big & Healthy Baby

Image
Tay had his two month check-up this last week and he was almost 24 inches long - 80th percentile, and 13 lbs 5 oz - 85th percentile! So basically he is healthy and eating well...and he just might end up being pretty tall when he grows up. :) He's been smiling and coo-ing a lot the last few weeks, it's SO wonderful. He gets more alert and aware of himself and his surroundings every day, it's amazing to watch him grow and develop. (Although it is sad how fast my little baby is growing up already and he's only 2 months old!) I turned the hot tub down a few degrees and took him in it after getting shots to help his legs feel better - he LOVED it! We also blessed Taylor this last Sunday and we were able to have LOTS of family there to support us - it was a wonderful day. Taylor wore David's blessing outfit and some booties made by David's grandma before she passed away, and was swaddled in a blanket that David's mom bought in Bethlehem.

Cancun

Cancun was really fun! Tay had to spend the whole time under an umbrella, which meant so did I, but somehow I still came away with bit of a tan. :) David spent a lot of time playing any beach sport that there was to play - mainly beach volleyball. We also drank lots of virgin pina coladas and strawberry daquiris. It was a wonderfully relaxing vacation. Besides beach volleyball, one of the highlights for David was getting to swim with dolphins. Another fun thing that happened on the trip was that my sister's then boyfriend (now fiance!) flew in and surprised her and proposed on the beach - sooo romantic!

More than a Month

I can't believe that my tiny little baby is a month old now. It has gone by so quickly, yet it seems as if he's been with us forever. We absolutely LOVE being parents and are still constantly amazed by how adorable we think Taylor is. An exhausting shopping trip: Some of David's family members with their babies: David went to NY and PA to visit law schools: And he brought back this adorable outfit for Taylor: Taylor wore overalls for the first time and he looked absolutely adorable! Our little family: Just chilling on the bed waiting for Dad to wake up - Saturday mornings are fun! Taking a Sunday afternoon nap -Taylor went to church for the first time this past week. Tay-Tay and I had a picnic in front of our house with my sister, Bonnie: We bought Taylor a swing and sometimes he likes it :) We went out to eat at Brick Oven: Tay had his first piggy-back ride: We are sooo excited for BYU football to start!
